Book Readings/Signings - Poetry Recitals - Writing Workshops

23rd October 2010 - reading of 'The Colour Blind Boy' @ The Young Muslim Writers Awards Stand, GPU 2010, Excel Centre London.

16th October 2010 - Radio interview on Luton based Inspire Fm's Art and Culture Show presented by Shemiza Rashid. The interview was preceeded by a review of The CBB by 3 children aged 7-9 yrs.

19th June 2010 - Invited on the panel of judges for The 2010 Eid card competition launched at Dallow Primary School, Luton. Organised by The Creative Muslim Network with winning cards printed and sold online by Alif Creations and profits going towards Friends of Bright Eyes (FOBE) a registered charity which provides support for children with special needs and disabilities and their families and carers.

26th April 2010 - @ Manchester Muslim Writers, Manchester

Invited as guest author. Brilliant session with budding writers of all genres.  Q&A on writing. Hope people learnt from the session and enjoyed it as much as I did. Finished with a few book signings of the CBB. A big thank you to the 'Curry Mile' author Zahid Hussain for the invite.

10th September 2009 - @ Hucklow Primary School, Sheffield - Bookreading from the CBB and then followed by a short creative writing workshop with the children on the timely theme of Ramadhan and then followed by Q&A from the group of children. I would like to thank one of the teachers Ahmir Hussain for organising the session.

1st September 2009 - You tube launch of Ahmad Hussain's 'Aye Khuda' nasheed music video. I was very fortunate to have worked as Script Writer and Creative Director on the project.

2006 - @ Darnall Library, Sheffield - Book reading of The CBB by a proffessional Storyteller organised on behalf of the Sheffield Central Library Service and then followed with me holding a Q&A for the Children present from Greenlands Junior School. 

2005 - @ Islamic Foundation, Markfield Centre, Leicester - Offical launch of the CBB included a reading by Shaikh Ibrahim Mogra and the event concluded with a book-signing by myself. 

1997 - BBC Radio Sheffield, Sunday Show - Hosted by Mohammed Mahmood, I was interviewed about my Urdu writing and then I recited some of my Urdu Poetry.

7th April 1996 -  @ Burngreave Library, Sheffield - Urdu Poetry recital organised by Bazme Urdu Adab. I recited my Urdu poetry to an audience of around 60 locals as well as local and national Urdu Poets.
